The Book of Eli (2010)

In post-apocalyptic America, where knowledge is a precious commodity, a mysterious, nomadic traveler called Eli roams the wasteland alone, scavenging for scarce resources off whatever remains. He harbors an important secret that more unscrupulous men, like the brutal warlord Carnegie, would desperately want to possess as their own as a means of controlling their subjects. Eli finds a sympathetic friend in Carnegie’s daughter, Solara, in his effort to prevent this secret from falling into the wrong hands, which could be disastrous for the future of human civilization.
