Plot

Striving to revolutionize the automotive industry, the eccentric Mr. Hulot, resident designer at Altra Motors, crafts an innovative camper car brimming with imaginative features. As the prototype is hauled to a prestigious auto show in Amsterdam, Mr. Hulot embarks on a parallel journey in his own vehicle, accompanied by Maria, a high-maintenance PR executive with a penchant for designer clothes and a doting fluffy dog, traveling in her chic sports car. The lorry transporting the camper car encounters a plethora of misfortunes, including a flat tire, an unexpected accident, no gas, and a run-in with the law, leading to a series of delays. Along the way, the weary travelers are also subject to an array of traffic jams and pit stops, showcasing colorful vignettes of everyday people and their love for automobiles. As the journey unfolds, Maria's haughty demeanor gradually unwinds through her interactions with these humble folks. Stripping off her layers of arrogance, Maria transforms into a more relaxed and appealing character. Thus, Trafic intertwines the comical with the profound, presenting a tale of human connection, humility, and innovation, all set against the backdrop of a chaotic road trip.
