Plot

In the bustling waiting room of a globally renowned specialist in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), a curious convergence of individuals find themselves entwined by a glitch in a nascent computer program - an error that has scheduled their appointments on the identical day and hour. Among them is Emilio, a taxi driver whose brain buzzes with astronomical computations, all while battling the clutches of Diogenes Syndrome, a compulsive hoarding disorder. Blanca, a laboratory worker, lives in constant terror of unseen viruses and bacteria, her life dictated by her severe mysophobia. Ana Maria's faith is tainted by her verification disorder, her prayers punctuated with relentless doubt. Otto, a youthful soul, obsesses over symmetry to the extent that he painstakingly avoids stepping on pavement cracks. Lili, a vivacious gym coach, struggles with the dual affliction of palilalia and echolalia, causing unintended repetition of words and phrases - both her own and those of others. Completing this tapestry of eccentricities is Federico, a mature lawyer-in-the-making, who is involuntarily driven to blur out profanities and mimic obscene gestures, thanks to Tourette Syndrome. Their initial interaction, rife with tension, escalates when Tiffany, the receptionist, informs them of Dr. Palomero's delayed flight from London. This unexpected turn of events prompts Federico to suggest they share their unique OCD experiences in a desperate bid to self-medicate, triggering a whirlwind of events that tumble along a trajectory of increasing madness.
