Odd Thomas isn't just strange, he can see the future. He pays his bills as a short order cook and is madly in love with his girlfriend, Stormy. Stormy who works at an ice cream parlor is equally enamored with Odd, and understands he's a bit different than everyone else. When a new person comes to town, Odd immediately notices something is wrong with the man. He immediately thinks the newcomer has bad intentions, and only Odd can stop him.
