Plot

Renowned dirt bike racer, Lyle Swann, renowned for his prowess and high-tech gadgetry, veers off course during the Baja 1000 desert race, plunging into an unexpected adventure. His high-octane chase leads him straight into the operational radius of a clandestine time-travel experiment, where "maser velocity acceleration" is being harnessed to catapult objects through time. In an unexpected twist of fate, Swann rides through the energy field, transporting him and his C and J framed XT500 Yamaha back to November 5, 1877. The experiment's stunned scientists grapple to comprehend the accident, but before they can rectify their error, Swann, oblivious to his temporal displacement, speeds off into the wild yesteryears of the American West. Swann's modern attire and unfamiliar vehicle trigger panic in the small village of San Marcos, where frightened locals dub him 'El Diablo', the Devil. His futuristic red suit and dirt bike also catch the eye of a ruthless outlaw gang led by Porter Reese, who becomes consumed with the desire to seize his motorcycle. As he navigates this harsh, new world, Swann finds an ally in the beautiful Claire Cygne, who offers him sanctuary amidst the chaos. Thrust into a brutal era of thieves, rapists, and murderers, Swann has to rely on his racing skills, wits, and the horsepower of his Yamaha to survive. A twisted blend of the past and the present, 'Timerider: The Adventure of Lyle Swann' takes you on a thrilling journey, where high-speed chases, ancient outlaws, and modern technology collide.
