Plot

In the far-off Ruritanian Kingdom of Tyronia, nestled amidst the tranquillity of a spa, American financier Richard Gresham crosses paths with the nation's ruler, King Anatol XII. Gresham, a shrewd businessman, convinces the king of a lucrative opportunity; a staggering $50 million loan could uplift his impoverished nation, on the condition that the king's enchanting daughter, Princess Catterina, wins the hearts of the American public. However, a twist of fate sees Princess Catterina stricken with the mumps and sequestered on a ship for a month. With the deal hanging by a thread, Gresham makes a daring move. He enlists the talents of Nancy Lane, an unemployed actress bearing an uncanny resemblance to the princess, to fill in for the ailing royal. Propelled into a whirlwind of deception and high stakes diplomacy, Nancy must navigate the treacherous waters of her dual identity. Her task becomes all the more complicated when she finds herself drawn to investigative reporter, Porter Madison. Madison is hot on the trail of Nancy Lane's mysterious disappearance, oblivious to the fact that the woman he's investigating is also the woman he's falling for. As Nancy grapples with the precarious balance of her dual roles, she finds both the loan and her heart teetering on the edge. 'Thirty Day Princess' is a captivating tale of mistaken identities, tumultuous romance, and the high-stakes gamble of a nation's future.
