Thicker Than Water (2019)

A year marked by heartache and loss has unraveled the Decker family, following the devastating overdose of their beloved son, Zach. Father Nathan and sister Addie are gradually piecing their lives back together, but for mother Paige, the grief remains a relentless captor. Withdrawn and unable to work, her world is shrouded in sorrow. In a bid to offset Paige's loss of income, the Deckers decide to rent out their vacant bedroom, unknowingly welcoming a glimmer of hope into their lives. Their new lodger, the charismatic university student Brandon Wilson, brings a breath of fresh air into the Decker household.
