They Came from Beyond Space (1967)

In the peaceful countryside of Cornwall, England, tranquility is shattered as a meteor shower crashes into a local farm, leaving a curious V-formation of space debris. An elite team of scientists rushes to investigate this celestial phenomenon. Among them should have been Dr. Curtis Temple, a leading figure in extraterrestrial studies. However, still mending from an accident that left him with a silver plate in his head, he is forbidden to join the mission. Unbeknownst to the team, this will prove to be his salvation. As his replacement, Dr. Temple suggests his girlfriend, Lee Mason, unaware of the dire circumstances that await the team. In a chilling turn of events, an alien force seizes control of the scientists' minds, transforming them into puppets, enslaved to build a clandestine facility within the farm's boundaries. Meanwhile, a lethal crimson plague begins to decimate the local population, leaving its victims covered with blood droplets, a macabre testament to its mercilessness. Dr. Temple, driven by a desperate need to uncover the truth, ventures into the infected rural area. To his astonishment, he finds that he is immune to both the alien possession and the terrifying plague. With the determined audacity of a man with nothing to lose, he rescues Lee from the extraterrestrial clutches and, with a fellow colleague, they equip themselves with helmets as their last line of defense. They daringly return to the farm, which now serves as a launch pad for a rocket destined for the moon. Upon meeting the enigmatic Master of the Moon, they begin to unravel the chilling intentions of these alien invaders. As the only one immune to the invaders' control, Dr. Temple finds himself humanity's last hope, standing between Earth and a sinister plot that reaches beyond the stars.
