In the midst of her rigorous preparations for a Master's Degree in Psychology, Julia Lund's world is abruptly shattered when she is summoned by her childhood friend, Billy Parks. Billy, consumed by the demons of darkness that haunted their childhood nightmares, tragically ends his life in Julia's presence, a horrifying spectacle that sends her spiraling back into the terrifying shadows of her past. The funeral of her friend introduces her to Sam Burnside and his companion Terry Alba, fellow victims of the same nightmarish visions.
