Plot

In the chilling folds of reality, "The Young Poisoner's Handbook" unfurls the story of a British teenager, Graham, whose brilliance is marred by a lack of morality. Intrigued by the darker facets of life, Graham finds solace in the world of science, particularly chemistry. He immerses himself in books, feeding his fascination with morbid subjects such as toxins and homicide. A social outcast, Graham finds his family life unbearable, especially due to the torment he endures from his stepmother. In a twisted retaliation, Graham weaves a deadly tapestry of revenge using his chemical knowledge. He begins poisoning those who displeasure him, first with the subtle menace of antimony and later the deadly touch of thallium. Conceited in his cunning, Graham believes he's outsmarting everyone around him. However, his sinister games are eventually discovered, leading to his confinement in a psychiatric institution for rehabilitation. Trapped within the institution's stark walls, Graham encounters an eminent psychiatrist assigned to cure him. Yet, even here, Graham's manipulative intelligence is at play as he attempts to deceive his way to freedom. "The Young Poisoner's Handbook" is a haunting exploration of a disturbed mind's journey through obsession, revenge, and manipulation, all wrapped in the guise of boyish curiosity.
