Confined within the imposing walls of a POW camp, the British officers are faced with a seemingly insurmountable challenge: the Nazis have strategically placed the huts far from the boundaries, increasing the length of any potential escape tunnel. Amidst this stifling environment, one ingenious British officer devises an audacious plan. By introducing a daily gymnastics routine with a vaulting horse, they can subtly position it near the boundary and commence their tunnel beneath its cover.
With the daring strategy in place, he and two other brave souls initiate their daring escape from the war-torn camp, embarking on a desperate quest for freedom. Their destination: the neutral grounds of Sweden. But the journey is fraught with peril. Not only must they navigate the treacherous landscape without sparking suspicion, but they also need to find a compassionate stranger from a neutral or occupied country, willing and capable of aiding them on their hazardous journey.
