The Outpost (2020)

The Outpost is a true, war-action thriller that takes place during the Afghan War. A small group of U.S. soldiers is holding one of the many outposts around the country to hold off the Taliban from harassing and killing the locals. They work to gain the local’s trust to help stop the Taliban skirmishes. With dwindling ammunition and poor defenses, the small Army contingent must hold off or defeat a surprise attack of at least 400 Taliban until reinforcements arrived. They were warned of the attack by locals, but dismissed the information. It became the most decorated unit in the war.

The Outpost is an action movie featuring Scott Eastwood and directed by Rod Lurie.
