In the vibrant heart of East L.A., a charismatic con-artist named Gomez stumbles upon a radiant vanilla ice-cream-colored suit, a sartorial delight that promises more than just a simple fashion statement. With an eye for opportunity and a dream of a well-dressed escape to El Paso, Gomez cunningly convinces four unsuspecting strangers to pool their funds and buy this luminescent treasure together. The suit, however, is no ordinary garment. It's a magical conduit that transforms the lives of its wearers, even if just for an hour. Dominguez, a humble musician, finds his guitar strumming and voice enchanting women, leading them in a joyous parade through the bustling plaza. The ordinarily overlooked Martinez, suddenly shines bright, catching the affectionate gaze of his beautiful neighbor. The street poet, Villanazul, dons the suit and captures a captivated audience with his visionary ideals for the rejuvenation of the east side. While the suit's mystical aura begins to morph Gomez into a better man, causing him to rethink his initial plans of fleeing, a looming uncertainty brews. The final partner, the grubby and uncouth Vamanos, with his penchant for juicy tacos and liberal wine drinking, threatens to besmirch the pristine suit. The suit has fulfilled wishes, sparked transformations, and created a sense of unity among these five strangers, but will it survive the final hour in Vamanos' care, or will its magical properties be smeared away with a taco stain?
