Plot

As the embers of Troy still smolder, Hecuba and her sisterhood of Trojan women awaken to the ruins of their once magnificent city, now a somber testament to their lost cause. Their home has been wrested away by the relentless hands of the Greeks, and their fate, it seems, is sealed in slavery. The ominous approach of a messenger brings the harrowing news - each woman's destiny has been decided by the cold impartiality of lots drawn by Greek soldiers. Caught in the eye of this storm is Hecuba's daughter, the ethereal Cassandra. Selected for the Greek king's bedchamber, she faces a cruel twist of fate. Aware of her impending doom, Cassandra has taken refuge in the shadows, for she has pledged an oath of chastity to the gods. Upon discovery, her words, laced with vitriol, echo her disdain for the impending Greek oppression. This tale of The Trojan Women is a poignant exploration of loss, fate, and defiance amidst the ruins of war.
