Plot

In the quaint corners of France, an orphaned boy named Champion is lovingly raised by his grandmother, Madame Souza. A simple gift of a tricycle sparks an insatiable passion for cycle-racing within Champion, a flame Madame Souza ceaselessly fans into a roaring blaze. With her tireless training, Champion ascends to the grueling heights of the Tour de France, the world's most demanding cycling event. However, their shared dream swiftly turns into a nightmare when Champion, along with several top competitors, are inexplicably kidnapped by a duo of ominous crooks with downcast faces. Undeterred by the odds, Madame Souza, aided by her corpulent and gassy canine companion, Bruno, embarks on a daring mission to rescue her beloved grandson. Their journey propels them across the Atlantic, landing them in the sprawling labyrinth of Belleville, a massive seaport city and the den of the infamous French mafia. Amid the intimidating shadows and unfamiliar faces of this bustling metropolis, they encounter the Belleville Triplettes, once a glamorous close-harmony act, now a peculiar jazz combo composed of three eccentric elderly women. Intrigued by Mme Souza's dogged determination and warm spirit, the Triplettes take her and Bruno under their wing, immersing them in the offbeat rhythm of their world. As Mme Souza becomes an integral part of their band, she stumbles upon a shocking revelation at their first gig - Champion held captive by the Godfather of the mafia himself. As chaos ensues, the unlikely quartet, aided by Bruno, must rely on their wit, courage, and the power of harmony to outmaneuver the ruthless mafia and free Champion from their sinister grasp. The stage is set for a riveting chase that will test the bonds of family, friendship, and the enduring spirit of a grandmother's love.
