In the bleak aftermath of 1946, a brave soldier sires an unborn child before succumbing to the cruel hands of death. Fast forward to 1952, within the rhythmic chug of a train, this child, Sanya, and his doting mother, Katya, cross paths with an enigmatic soldier whose charm is as captivating as his appearance. He wins Katya's heart and soon, they masquerade as a family, ensconced in a welcoming rooming house where the soldier’s good looks and generosity make him a beloved figure.
As Sanya navigates life under the soldier’s tutelage, learning lessons of resilience and unyielding ambition, Katya finds herself irreversibly enamored with this man, Tolyan.
