Plot

In the tense, pulsating heart of Los Angeles, a man known as McClain finds himself embarking on a daring mission. Entrusted with scheming the audacious robbery of the Los Angeles Coliseum, the stakes rise beyond the roar of the bustling crowd attending the colossal football game. With meticulous precision and tactical finesse, McClain assembles a quartet of skilled men, each playing a vital role in orchestrating the heist. The audacity of their plan is matched only by its brilliance, and the job transpires without a hitch. Flush with success and over half a million dollars richer, the thieves grapple with the challenge of concealing their newfound wealth. McClain proposes a seemingly foolproof plan - entrusting the money to Ellie, his unsuspecting girlfriend. However, when Ellie is tragically killed and the money mysteriously disappears, a veil of suspicion descends upon the triumphant crew. Each man begins to question the other, accusations fly, and trust crumbles like a sandcastle under the relentless tide of doubt. Amidst the chaos, they all turn to McClain, assuming he holds the key to the vanished fortune. Yet, McClain is as clueless as his comrades, his thoughts veering towards a shrewd cop who seems to know more than he reveals about the robbery and Ellie's untimely demise. "The Split" is a gripping tale of betrayal, mystery, and a high stakes game where the line between allies and adversaries blurs, and every assumption could lead to a deadly mistake.
