Plot

In the concrete jungle of New York, a world-weary resident named Grimm is yearning for an escape. Concocting an audacious plan, he transforms into a jester of crime, donning a clown costume to rob a Manhattan bank. Alongside him, his girlfriend Phyllis and loyal friend Loomis play integral roles in this daring heist. Their true genius lies in their seamless disguise as hostages, allowing them to slip through the hands of law unnoticed. Yet, as the saying goes, 'Every beginning has an end, but only a few ends have a good beginning.' They've successfully plundered the bank, but the real challenge commences now - to escape the city's iron grip. What was supposed to be a straightforward trip to the airport spirals into a labyrinth of hurdles. From befuddled road workers and devious tricksters to non-English-speaking cabbies and obstinate bus drivers, each encounter adds another twist to their getaway tale. Simultaneously, they find themselves in the unyielding crosshairs of Rotzinger, the city's Chief of Police. A man as weary of the city as Grimm himself, Rotzinger, however, is relentless in pursuit. With the law one step behind and a myriad of obstacles before them, it's a high-stakes race against time. Will Grimm and his cohorts navigate this urban maze to reach the airport, or will their audacious dream of freedom crumble under the weight of their escalating predicaments? In this game of cat and mouse, every moment teeters on the brink of capture or escape. The city they despise might just be their greatest adversary yet.
