Plot
Dom Cobb is in the business of infiltrating dreams. Once inside, he and his team are able to hijack the subject's plans and ideas in a process known as extraction.
When a particularly wealthy client approaches the team with a request for inception—the act of introducing an idea, rather than stealing one—Dom is tempted, even though his colleagues insist that it can't be done. In return for this service, the client is promising Dom the one thing he wants most of all: the chance to return to his children.
