Plot

In the fog-draped city of San Francisco, Edward Miller, a war veteran turned errand boy for a local dry cleaning company, nurses a dangerous, sociopathic hatred for women. This deep-seated loathing, often triggered by women he perceives as threats to society, is a ticking time bomb, ready to explode at the slightest provocation. Even the few women he bears affection for are not safe from his volatile temper, should they inadvertently cross him. Haunted by his irrational feelings and largely ignored cries for help, Miller's inner turmoil finds an outlet in violence when his pleas fall on deaf ears, save for a prison psychiatrist, who once tried to untangle his twisted psyche during a stint for assaulting a woman. Unable to contain his rage, Miller embarks on a chilling killing spree. With a military-issue rifle as his weapon of choice, he becomes a phantom menace, prowling the city and striking from a distance, earning him the ominous moniker, "The Sniper." In this shadowy game of cat-and-mouse, the baffled police force, led by the determined Lt. Frank Kafka and his aide, Sgt. Joe Ferris, struggle to piece together the Sniper's elusive profile. The only clue they have is the military-grade weapon, a common possession among war veterans. As the body count rises and the city descends into terror, they turn to police psychiatrist Dr. James Kent, hoping his insights could shed light on the Sniper's dark motives. "The Sniper" weaves a tense narrative of a disturbed man on the edge, evading the clutches of law enforcement while leaving a trail of devastation in his wake. Caught in a web of his own making, Miller yearns for capture, leaving breadcrumbs for his pursuers—but will they be enough to end his reign of terror?
