The Shattering (2015)

Under the cloak of darkness, Donovan embarks on a clandestine journey with his ailing girlfriend, Lucy, and their unsuspecting friends. Their destination, a hidden woodland gathering, promises the presence of a mysterious "healer" capable of eradicating Lucy's merciless cancer. However, their voyage is abruptly halted by an unexpected booby-trap in the middle of their path, sparking a wave of unease among the group. When one of them ventures out to inspect the anomaly, he is savagely murdered and whisked away from the vehicle, escalating the group's fear into sheer terror. The survivors, now prey in a lethal game, are forced to seek refuge in an abandoned cabin, evading not only the relentless pursuit of paramilitary operatives but also the monstrous creatures responsible for their friend's gruesome demise. As their numbers dwindle, a chilling realization dawns upon them: Donovan has orchestrated this nightmarish scenario, using his friends as sacrificial bait in a desperate bid to procure a magical potion he believes can save Lucy. Yet even Donovan, in his blind pursuit of a cure, fails to comprehend the true cost of saving the one he loves.
