Six Days Seven Nights (1998)

Being a magazine editor in New York comes with a lot of power, but it also means having to make some notable sacrifices in your life just to stay relevant. That's how Robin Monroe finds herself having to interrupt her romantic getaway with the fiance to cover a story on a neighboring island. Her only way to get there is with a gruff pilot who speaks his mind, and the two have the misfortune of crashing on a deserted island. It's a harrowing experience but one that might allow them to both learn something about their own weak points.
