In the heartrending aftermath of an unthinkable calamity - the loss of their child, Rainer and Patricia find their glamorous, globe-trotting existence irrevocably shattered. Seeking solace and a fresh start, they transplant their lives to a secluded corner of the enchanting island of Malta, a verdant Eden that seems to promise healing and renewal.
