Iris has always been an ardent dreamer, her aspirations of becoming a filmmaker rooted in her since childhood. Her dreams, however, find themselves shackled in the confines of reality television. For five long years, she's been directing episodes for a barely surviving series that rivals Ghost Hunters, a far cry from the creative freedom she yearns for. Iris's chance to break free and prove her worth comes cloaked in an assignment – a return to her hometown of Black Falls and into the ominous shadows of an abandoned insane asylum with a terrifying legacy rooted in excessive shock therapy. The asylum isn't just an eerie location for her current project; it's a place tangled up with Iris's own past. It was here, within its dread-laden walls, that a young Iris and her friends would trespass to film their homemade horror flicks. Now, as she steps back into its chilling halls, her past and present interweave, awakening long-buried memories and kindling her creative spirit. However, this journey back to her roots takes an unexpected, horrifying turn. A catastrophic incident strikes, leaving Iris and her friends shaken to their core.
