The Premonition (1976)

In the heart of suburban tranquility, five-year-old Janie Bennett leads an idyllic life with her doting foster parents, Miles and Sheri Bennett. Unbeknownst to her, the shadows of her past are lurking, as her birth mother, the tormented Andrea Fletcher, plots to reclaim her, aided by her carny boyfriend, Jude. Consumed by insanity but bound by maternal love, Andrea wavers in her mission to kidnap Janie. One fateful day, following a chilling premonition, Sheri rushes to Janie's school just in time to thwart Andrea's attempt to connect with her daughter.
