In the shadowy realm of scientific intrigue, biologist Jim Tanner finds himself entwined in a government research team's nerve-wracking quest for the truth. The team, an assembly of sharp minds, includes the captivating geneticist Margery Lansing and the seasoned anthropologist Henry Hallson.
