Plot

In the heart of Paris, Elmer Tuttle, a humble plumber with inventive aspirations, is unexpectedly drafted by the enchanting Patricia Alden to kindle the flames of jealousy in her wayward lover, Tony Lagorce. However, Tony himself is entangled in a clandestine affair with the alluring Nina Estrados. Ever the opportunist, Elmer, along with his loyal companion Julius, finds this a golden opportunity to introduce high society to his revolutionary creation - a pistol equipped with a range-finding light. However, the glitz of the upper echelons of Parisian society proves to be a tricky maze. Elmer's ingenious attempts to pique the interest of a military magnate are disastrously misconstrued as assassination plots. This misunderstanding catapults him into a whirlwind of challenges from Tony and the crème de la crème of French society, inciting an array of duels that his plumbing prowess cannot extricate him from. In the glamorous yet perilous world of love and intrigue, Elmer finds himself navigating through a web of romance, rivalry, and misinterpreted intentions, ensnared in a situation that not even his plumbing tools can fix.
