In the not-so-distant future, the life of Sarah, a woman wrestling with a strained relationship with her mother and the challenges of long-distance love with Peter, spirals into the unexpected. After an alarming incident of coughing up blood, she is confronted with a chilling diagnosis - an incurable terminal disease.
