Plot

Returning to his hometown after many years, Cal Weston, a hardened cowboy, finds himself drawn into a whirlpool of deception and murder. He enters the dusty town of Mesa, intending to reunite with his father, only to discover a chilling scene at the town bank, where his father lies lifeless. The local sheriff and the coroner, a dubious character named Dr. Crandall, declare it a suicide. But Cal is not convinced. The smoking gun clenched in his father's right hand is a glaring mistake - John Weston was left-handed. As he embarks on a perilous quest for truth and vengeance, Cal's identity remains a secret, known only to Jud Winters, his father's trusted business partner. The path is fraught with danger as Martin Carter, the bank's crooked bookkeeper, and his minions plot against Cal. An ambush leaves the bank examiner from the county seat wounded and replaced by a counterfeit, who spins a web of lies, accusing John Weston of looting the bank. Suddenly, Cal finds himself painted as the villain, accused of knowing where the stolen money is. Forced out of town, he stumbles upon the wounded real examiner, and the pieces of this deadly puzzle begin to fall into place. With his loyal horse, Tarzan, at his side, Cal must navigate through a labyrinth of treachery to uncover the true killer, clear his father's name, and restore justice to Mesa, all while staying a step ahead of his relentless pursuers.
