Plot

In the high-stakes world of competitive cycling, Julie shines brightly as a rising star. Poised on the precipice of international fame, she stands just two victories away from seizing the coveted World Cup - the glorious culmination of years of relentless dedication and effort. Julie, fueled by her love for the spotlight, and her entourage, thriving off her radiance, revel in the anticipation of her impending triumph. Yet, beneath this dazzling façade lies a darker reality. Since the tender age of 14, Julie has been entrapped in a web of duplicity, spurred on by her coach and doctor into a dangerous game of performance-enhancing drugs. As the stakes rise, so does the magnitude of the deception. When her doctor threatens to expose the truth, Julie manages to suppress the scandal, but the echoes of abuse, lies, and betrayal reverberate ominously. As Julie pedals faster towards her dream, she finds herself ensnared in a treacherous cycle that far surpasses the race track. Confronted with a moral crossroads, she must decide whether to continue pedaling in the shadows of deceit or break free and risk losing everything. Will Julie find the courage to escape this relentless gear, or will she lose herself in the race for victory? In "The Little Queen," the pursuit of glory collides with the struggle for authenticity, crafting a gripping tale of ambition, deception, and the desperate search for escape.
