In the heart of Bao Tao Island, an eerie phenomenon grips the inhabitants as they find themselves under siege by a relentless and intelligent army of ants. The government, desperate for a solution, enlists the assistance of the controversial Thorax Company. They are tasked with working alongside the military to exterminate this unusual infestation. Len, a dedicated scientist, and his comrade Bill suddenly find themselves in the eye of the storm, swarmed by the relentless insects. In a chilling turn of events, an ant infiltrates Bill's defenses, burrowing into his ear and manipulating his brain, leading to a drastic alteration in his behavior. As the situation spirals out of control, the enigmatic scientist Claire is dispatched to the island. Teaming up with Len, they begin to unravel the unnerving mystery of the ants. They soon make a groundbreaking discovery - the ants are not just mindless creatures, but are capable of complex communication and have a collective ambition to claim the island as their own. But as they delve deeper, Len and Claire stumble upon an even more disturbing revelation. The ants, displaying behavior never witnessed before, are not operating on primal instinct alone. Instead, they are controlled by an ominous force that transcends the boundaries of our world. In a race against time, the duo must unravel the secrets of the hive before the island surrenders to the ravenous will of the ants.
