Plot

Steeped in the perennial agony of her three-year-old daughter's disappearance 15 years prior, Julia Sandburg has constructed an impenetrable fortress of solitude around herself. This fortress stands tall, distancing her from those who once held places of affection in her heart, including her husband Doug and her son Chris. Despite their incessant efforts to breach her fortress of isolation and despair, they find their attempts futile. However, the arrival of Louise, a young woman shadowed by a turbulent past, stirs the stagnant waters of Julia's life. As Louise steps into her world, Julia's old psychic scars are ripped open, each one breathing life into the torment she has long suppressed. Along with the pain, an irrational yet irresistible glimmer of hope resurfaces. A hope, laced with illogicality, that the enigmatic Louise could be the missing piece of her shattered life - the daughter she lost in the labyrinth of time so long ago. This riveting narrative of hope and despair navigates the complex labyrinth of a mother's heart, whilst delicately balancing on the thin line between rationality and longing.
