Plot

In the heart of Europe, American journalist Mike Wilson and English photographer Howard Meade find themselves on an unexpected detour into the enigmatic realm of Gudavia. When their train carriage mysteriously detaches and veers off onto a forgotten track, the duo is thrust into a world shrouded in mystery and intrigue. Accused of espionage, they're ensnared within the kingdom's dark depths, where the sinister scientist, Boronski, known also as Dr. Macklin, wields his dominion. Boronski's chilling experiments, employing the potent force of gamma rays on humans, form the sinister backbone of Gudavia. His groundbreaking research yields dual outcomes - the birth of prodigious children and the creation of eerie, zombie-like beings, who remain under his unyielding control, solidifying his reign over Gudavia. Under the looming fear of an international scandal, Boronski begrudgingly frees Wilson and Meade. However, Wilson, scenting a groundbreaking story, delves into the kingdom's secrets as they await their journey to Salzburg. Their quest for the truth is bolstered by the brave Paula Wendt, a castle lab worker striving to free her brother, Hugo, from Boronski's relentless experiments. The stakes rise when Mike and Paula infiltrate Boronski's fortress to liberate a local girl, their actions triggering an unstoppable surge of events. When Hugo stumbles upon their covert mission, they're ensnared once more in Boronski's web, becoming unwilling subjects in his deadly gamma ray trials. This gripping tale of courage, suspense, and the quest for truth promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
