In the gripping shadows of his contentious past, a young Estonian fencer named Endel finds himself on the run from the relentless pursuit of the Russian secret police. His flight leads him back to the familiar yet haunting landscape of his homeland, a place he'd hoped to leave behind. Adapting to his circumstances, he assumes the role of a physical education teacher at a local school, a veneer of normalcy amidst his turmoil. Endel’s inherent passion for fencing doesn't remain concealed for long. He begins training a group of young, eager students in the intricate art of fencing, each parry and thrust echoing his own battles.
