When Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane is handicapped with the lowest salary constraint in baseball, he’s determined to find a competitive advantage in order to put together a successful team. The idea to use statistics to analyze and assign value to players completely changes the game. Computer-generated analysis brings a whole new layer to baseball.
