The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave (2000)

In the aftermath of a disastrous stunt gone wrong, followed by a calamitous New Year's Eve celebration in 1999, the endearingly inept yet legendary stuntman, Super Dave Osborne, finds himself contemplating retirement. His life is swirling in a whirlpool of complications - mounting financial woes, a treacherous trainee named D.J., and his slippery nemesis, promoter Gil Ruston, all conspiring against him. Fortune seems to have turned her back on Super Dave. However, amidst the turmoil, he encounters Sandy, a charmingly clumsy single mother, and her son Timmy, a brave little boy battling a serious heart condition. A bond forms instantly. Tragedy strikes when Timmy, emboldened by D.J.'s cruel taunts, attempts a perilous bicycle ramp jump, aggravating his delicate heart condition and necessitating a costly operation. Driven by a newfound purpose, Super Dave finds himself compelled to dust off his crash helmet and step back into the spotlight. Ruston's offer to fund Timmy's operation in exchange for one more astonishing stunt looms large. With the stakes higher than ever, will Super Dave be able to overcome his adversities, outsmart his enemies, and pull off a stunt to secure the future of young Timmy?
