Plot

In the heart of Barcelona, four old university chums set off on a journey to Berlin to reconnect with their fifth member, Álex Comas, who had left their Spanish hometown years ago. Leading the group is the expectant Olivia, seven months pregnant and nurturing hopes of unity. Next is the troubled couple, Guille and Anna, grappling with unemployment and their strained relationship. Rounding off the group is the idealistic Eloi, forced to move back into his parents' home after finding himself drowning in debt. Their arrival in Berlin, planned to coincide with Comas's 35th birthday weekend, takes him by surprise. However, the excitement of their reunion soon gives way to brewing tension. Disparate lifestyles and mounting personal issues spark conflicts and contradictions among the group. Comas, battling inner demons and a growing melancholy, disappears into the Berlin night, leaving his friends grappling with his absence and their own escalating issues. The next day, the group splits up. Olivia remains at Comas's place, hoping for his return, while Guille, Eloi, and Anna explore Berlin's mysterious allure. Olivia's solitude is interrupted by Marion, Comas's girlfriend of two years, whose recent breakup with Comas explains his depressive demeanor. Meanwhile, Eloi becomes disenchanted with Guille's arrogance and leaves the group, resulting in Anna's resentment towards Guille. While Olivia confronts Marion, claiming that Comas is the father of her unborn child from a brief encounter in Barcelona, Guille stumbles upon Comas in the city and tries to engage him in conversation. Anna, disillusioned, decides to return to Barcelona and sever ties with Guille, who desperately attempts to reverse her decision. As Sunday dawns, the five friends find themselves at a crossroads. They realize that distance, both physical and emotional, has the power to alter their relationships and their perception of friendship, forever changing their lives and the dynamics of their group.
