Plot

In the aftermath of World War II, Captain Jeff Eliott embarks on a poignant journey back to the heart of Munich, Germany. He is driven by a deep sense of gratitude towards the Lehrt family, who once saved him when his plane was shot down over the war-torn city. Tragically, he discovers that the family he seeks has been ripped apart by an Allied bombing, leaving only the youngest, an 18-year-old girl named Wilhelmina, "Willie" to shoulder the legacy of her family. Eliott finds the once-innocent Willie transformed into a sultry nightclub hostess, her youthful optimism overshadowed by a shroud of mystery. Captivated by her beauty and resilience, he finds himself entangled in a web of clandestine encounters, as their relationship swiftly develops. However, he remains oblivious to the dangerous undercurrents that shape her new existence. Willie, compelled into service by a sinister underground neo-Nazi organization, is trapped in a perilous dance on the knife-edge of survival. Behind her enchanting cabaret performances, she is ensnared in a terrifying world of gold-smuggling and malevolent machinations, all part of a chilling plot to resurrect Hitler's doomed thousand-year reign. Oblivious to the peril that awaits, Eliott plunges deeper into Willie's world, completely unaware of her forced allegiance to this dangerous organization. As their fates intertwine, the stakes rise, casting a dark shadow over their burgeoning relationship and thrusting them both into a deadly game where trust is a luxury they can ill afford. The Devil Makes Three is a captivating tale of love, loyalty, and deception set against the backdrop of a world struggling to heal from the scars of war.
