In the turbulent realm of medieval England, the rightful heir to the throne - a tiny infant marked with a unique purple pimpernel birthmark - has been dethroned by the wicked King Roderick I (Cecil Parker). The only hope for restoring justice lies with the daring rebel, the Black Fox (Edward Ashley). His mission? To reclaim the true King's key, unlocking a clandestine tunnel, all while navigating the tricky task of diaper duty. This challenge falls upon the unlikely hero Hubert Hawkins (Danny Kaye), the most tender-hearted member of the Fox's crew.
