The Witches (1990)

Recently orphaned Luke lives with his grandmother, Helga, in England. Helga teaches Luke about witches, but he never knows if his grandmother is making up stories or telling him the truth. When Helga becomes ill, she and Luke go to a hotel and find a convention for evil witches. Luke uncovers a plot to rid England of all children, and with Helga sick, it's up to Luke to defeat the evil witches and save the day.

The Witches is a comedy movie featuring Anjelica Huston and directed by Nicolas Roeg.
