In the hallowed halls of academia, Dirk Longstreet is a respected figure, a university professor, and a devoted coach who is as committed to his students' growth as he is to their athletic prowess. His life seems perfect, complete with a charming home, a luxurious car, and a loyal dog. What students and colleagues don't know is that Dirk harbors a secret past, a hidden identity under the name Dirk Lincoln, the Eastern Seaboard champion of a ruthless underground fighting society known ominously as 'The Circuit'. Once a pivotal player in this illicit world, Dirk has spent the last decade crafting a new life far removed from the vicious underworld of pit fights. However, when his younger brother, Jeremy, is ensnared by the allure of quick money offered by The Circuit, Dirk is faced with a daunting dilemma. He must either watch his brother journey down a dangerous path he knows all too well or risk everything by stepping back into the brutal world he successfully escaped. In a desperate attempt to protect his brother, Dirk infiltrates the treacherous underground fighting society once again, where he must confront the new ruthless champion, Kwan, of the intimidating Tiger Twins, and the sinister new owner of The Circuit, Vixton. As he treads the thin line between his peaceful present and the savage past, Dirk Longstreet finds himself in a high-stakes battle of survival and redemption.
