Once a shining star, Anthony Richards, the famed actor, finds himself in a sea of despair. At a tender age of 24, his career seems to crumble as his agent abandons him, and the post-holiday pantomime he counted on for financial stability collapses. With the walls of his London flat closing in, he has no option but to retreat to his roots for the festive season. He returns to a small Welsh community that still idolizes him as their Valley Boy who conquered the big city. A doting mother, a envious brother, and the omnipresent echoes of his former glory as The Yuletide Kid - the UK's version of Kevin McCallister - await him. His childhood home, adorned with reminders of his past success, turns into a battleground where Anthony must face his inner demons and evade the specters of his past, along with a bevy of obsessive admirers. Fortune, however, throws a lifeline his way. An opportunity to write and direct a play at the town's esteemed stage school lands on his lap, presenting a chance to cast off the shadow of The Yuletide Kid. But the path isn't easy. He must navigate through writer's block, his multiple personas, fervent fans, and a rapidly rising, envious competitor. To reclaim his life and move beyond his Yuletide Kid persona, Anthony must summon the spirit of the very character he's running from. The stage is set for the return of - The Yuletide Kid.
