Famed composer John Russell, following the tragic loss of his wife and daughter in a harrowing automobile accident, finds himself the last remaining survivor of a terrible tragedy. With his world turned upside down, he seeks solace in the solitude of the grand old Carmichael mansion. This mammoth edifice, funded by the local Senator Carmichael—a man unaware of the true origins of his wealth and lineage—provides a serene backdrop for Russell to mend his heart and craft his music. In the secluded grandeur of the mansion, Russell hopes to heal, create, and move on.
