Plot

Merle Hench, a former boxer turned mob enforcer, has spent two decades serving Murdoch, the formidable mafia leader of San Fernando. His life unfolds in a rhythm of violence and debt collection, a monotonous symphony he finds insipid. Merle, a relic of another era with his cool demeanor and restrained speech, is perceived as obsolete by his ruthless boss. As expendable as a pawn on a chessboard, he's manipulated into becoming the scapegoat for a multi-million-dollar heist from a rival gang. Merle, a chronic gambler, has known nothing but loss for 20 years. Yet, fortune takes a sudden turn as he evades the trap, securing a substantial portion of the loot and the enchanting Jacqueline. His plan could have ended in blissful obscurity, disappearing with his newfound wealth and the girl. But the sting of his boss's betrayal, a violation of two decades of loyalty, ignites a dormant fury within him. Merle Hench, known in the underworld as the Butcher, has a reputation for his cool-headedness and swift action. He's been content to live and let live, maintaining his existence on the fringes of society. But this betrayal is a transgression he cannot ignore. While his sinister nickname was often dismissed as a jest, few knew the dark history that justified such a title. Suddenly, Merle finds himself at the epicenter of a brutal gang war, with every weapon trained on him. It becomes a desperate race for survival, a quest for redemption, and a fight for the woman he loves. They've attempted to bury him twice, yet Merle has risen each time. Underestimating the Butcher proves to be the mob's gravest error and their final, fatal misstep.
