Plot

John, an imaginative schoolboy, embarks on an educational field trip to the historic Tower of London with his classmates. Amidst the ancient stones, he loses his cherished pet mouse and solemnly swears to return to rescue her. Back at school, the electricity lesson fails to spark his interest, causing him to drift into a nap and earn an early ticket home from his teacher. An ordinary subway ride home is suddenly interrupted by a startling flash, transforming John, the train, and its surprised passengers into a brilliant shade of yellow. Guided by the enigmatic Nick - an embodiment of 'Electronic' - John embarks on an electrifying journey of discovery, unraveling the mysteries of electricity. His newfound knowledge powers a daring mission to infiltrate the Tower of London in a quest to save his pet mouse. As the story unfolds, the line between reality and dream blurs, leaving the audience to wonder: is this a surreal adventure or a mere figment of John's vibrant imagination? This is a childhood tale woven with the magical touch of Powell & Pressburger, guaranteed to captivate young hearts and minds.
