In the heart of Denmark's tech industry, Ravn, a shrewd lawyer turned entrepreneur, stands at the helm of his successful IT firm. Founded on borrowed money from his six directors, Ravn cleverly constructs a façade, a fictitious company president, "The Boss of It All." This invisible figurehead shoulders the weight of the company's controversial decisions, leaving Ravn free of the employees' resentment. However, as Ravn decides to sell his company to Finnur, an ambitious Icelandic entrepreneur, he's faced with a challenging demand. Finnur insists on negotiating directly with the elusive "Boss." To maintain his ruse, Ravn pulls an unsuspecting Kristoffer, an unemployed actor and ardent fan of Antonio Gambini, into his tangled web. Kristoffer, under a strict confidentiality agreement, is hired to play the part of the phantom president. As Kristoffer assumes his role, he finds himself drawn into the intimate lives of the IT employees, uncovering secrets and forming emotional bonds. Unbeknownst to him, he steps onto a chessboard as a pawn, thrust into a game that will challenge his morality and test his resilience.
