The Book of Henry (2017)

Susan Carpenter struggles as a single mom raising two boys, but she's lucky that older 11-year old son Henry is a budding genius. But in addition to helping his mom keep things together, he worries about the abuse his neighbor and friend next door is suffering from her family. In the wake of Henry's sudden death, Susan finds a red notebook that outlines Henry's creative plan to save the young girl from abuse. Susan takes over for the task Henry committed herself to. At the same time, she discovers that the traditional methods of getting help might not be enough.
