Plot
Lord Naritsugu Matsudaira is the tentative ruler of feudal 19th century Japan, but his rule is so bloodthirsty and his policies so cruel that he unites a band of 13 assassins together against him. While these men and women would be deadly rivals under other circumstances, they find common ground in their need to bring down this mad despot. Each has suffered at his hands in some way, and that lends a personal layer to the vengeance that each seeks. None of these warriors expect to make it home alive, but even making it within arm's reach of Matsudaira is suicidal.
