As Harper stands on the precipice of literary fame with his autobiographical novel nearing publication, his life teeters between chaos and harmony. His girlfriend, Robin, yearns for a deeper commitment, while his close friend Lance, a celebrated pro athlete, is about to walk down the aisle, with Harper as his best man. Harper ventures to New York ahead of Robin, immersing himself in the camaraderie of Lance and their mutual friends. Among them is Jordan, his former almost-lover, now a successful media professional with a sneak peek of Harper's intimate revelations in his book.
