Terror Train (1980)

In the hallowed halls of their college, students Doc, Mitchy, Mo, Alana, Ed, and Jackson orchestrate a prank on their unsuspecting peer, Kenny Hampson. Tragically, their practical joke spirals out of control, culminating in Kenny's admission to a mental institution. Fast forward three years, graduation time has arrived and the group, still bound by their shared secret, decide to celebrate their academic triumph with a unique costume party aboard a train, unaware that the specter of their past is haunting them. As they embark on their journey, the festive atmosphere turns grim when Ed is mysteriously murdered, his Groucho Marx costume stolen by an unseen killer. As the train chugs along, the body count rises, each victim's costume adopted by their remorseless killer, transforming the celebration into a nightmarish game of survival. When Jackson's Swamp Thing costume becomes the next disguise for the relentless murderer, the train's conductor, Carne, stumbles upon the gruesome discovery, amplifying the terror. With a killer lurking in the shadows, the jovial graduation party quickly descends into a blood-curdling ride of survival. Unbeknownst to them, a masked entity from their past has stealthily slipped aboard, turning their joyous celebration into a deadly reckoning. As the train barrels through the darkness, the remaining students must confront the haunting consequences of their youthful indiscretion while struggling to unmask the costumed killer before they become the next victims.
